Column Shift w/ External Shifting Rod
When we ask if your column shift vehicle has external rod linkage this is what we mean. If you do not have that shifting rod running parallel to the column tube at 12 o'clock you likely have internal shifting rod linkage, which is not compatible with our kits as you would destroy all of the electrical linkage when cutting the column.
